County Agency and Custody Contacts

The Otero County Sheriff’s Office is at 3208 N White Sands Blvd., Alamogordo, and publishes 575-443-2935. It is a general agency contact; no public active-warrant roster or dedicated warrant line was located. Dispatch and non-emergency material lists 575-437-2210 and 800-874-3743, but those numbers should not be called a warrant hotline.

The Otero Detention Center is at 1958 Business Center Blvd., Alamogordo, with phone 575-437-6420. The county Bail page explains regular-hours court bond, after-hours detention, exact-cash rules, and an Alamogordo municipal exception.

Public Records Requests

For a specific county-held public record, use the Otero County Public Records Request page. The county asks for requester contact information and a detailed description, and it publishes response timing, copy fees, and exemption limits. IPRA is not a live personal warrant check and does not override sealed, juvenile, protected, or law-enforcement-sensitive restrictions.
